Costa Rica Hosts Third Indigenous Games
Visiting Costa Rica in April? On Saturday April 27, 2024 feeling adventurous, wanna help make a difference to an indigenous kid in the remotest part of Costa Rica come out and support a good cause.
Costa Rica will host the anticipated Third Indigenous Games. They will be held on the Caribbean coast and are organized by a loving team led by Gamaliel Molina Díaz. Organizers assured that this edition is gonna showcase indigenous culture and its solidarity.
Located amongst the lush landscapes of Bribri, Gavilan Canta serves as the picturesque backdrop for this celebration of indigenous heritage.
Participants and visitors will have the opportunity to involve themselves in local customs, from traditional games like bow and arrow shooting and log races to hands-on experiences in craft-making and culinary delights.

In addition to the games, there are opportunities to learn about local indigenous history and culture. Loads of fun and great experiences. Make sure to get involved in some of the local crafts like weaving, chocolate making, building a roof from palm leaves, natural twine, and dyes, plus learning and experiencing local foods.
Games kick-off is at 8 am on April 27th, attendees are invited to join in the festivities and witness the vibrant indigenous cultures that define Costa Rica’s rich heritage.
